Temporary Property Maintenance Operative

📍 White City, London
🕒 Part-Time | 16 hours per Week

💷 Up To £17.00 per hour
🚨 Immediate Start Required - No Notice Periods Please

Working Pattern - Flexibility Essential

This role offers 16 hours per week, however applicants must be fully flexible.

✅ Availability Monday through Sunday is essential
✅ Shifts and working days will vary based on operational requirements
✅ There is no fixed working pattern
✅ Days will be scheduled in advance where possible, but flexibility is key
✅ Candidates must be comfortable working across different days of the week, including weekends when required

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general planned and reactive maintenance works
• Complete minor repairs including basic plumbing, carpentry, decorating, and building fabric maintenance
• Assist with small improvement projects and facilities-related tasks
• Support furniture moves, room set-ups, and porterage duties when required
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance stores to a high standard
• Liaise with contractors and support facilities operations across the site
• Deliver excellent customer service to building occupants and visitors

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a general maintenance, handyman, or facilities maintenance role
• Practical skills across basic plumbing, carpentry, decorating, and general building repairs
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Professional and customer-focused approach
• Basic IT skills

Desirable

• Trade qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent)
• IOSH, First Aid, PAT Testing, or IPAF certification
• Experience working within a commercial or client-facing environment
