Your responsibilities as Skilled Butcher

• Prepare and cut meat and poultry to consistently high standards
• Produce value-added products including sausages and burgers
• Deliver knowledgeable and professional customer service
• Maintain attractive, fully stocked and well-presented displays
• Support customer orders and the smooth day-to-day running of the shop
• Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene and quality standards

 
What we’re looking for in a Skilled Butcher

• Previous butchery experience
• Strong knife skills and excellent product knowledge
• Experience serving customers within a retail environment
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures
• Experience producing value-added meat products is desirable

 
Working hours
45 hours per week, working a variety of shifts including early preparation shifts from 7:00am, mid shifts and late shifts finishing around 7:15pm–7:30pm. Weekend working is required on a rotating schedule.
