Job Description:

SITE ENGINEER – RC FRAME | LONDON

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join our team on an RC Frame construction project for a sub contractor in London.

Position: Site Engineer
Location: London
Sector: RC Frame / Reinforced Concrete
Start Date: October
Duration: Long-term / Project-based

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out and surveying for RC Frame works
• Ensuring works are constructed accurately in accordance with drawings and specifications
• Checking levels, dimensions, line and position
• Reviewing and interpreting construction drawings
• Carrying out quality control and inspections
• Producing and maintaining site records
• Liaising with subcontractors, site management, and the wider project team
• Monitoring progress and ensuring works are delivered to programme
• Supporting technical queries and resolving site issues
• Ensuring all works comply with relevant specifications, quality standards, and health & safety requirements

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on RC Frame projects
• Strong setting-out experience
• Proficient with Total Station / GPS / surveying equipment
• Ability to read and understand construction and structural drawings
• Good knowledge of reinforced concrete, formwork and reinforcement
• Relevant engineering qualification preferred
• CSCS card required
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a site team
