Senior Site Manager – Enabling & Civils

Salary: £80.000 - £85,000 + Package

The Opportunity

We are working with a leading main contractor to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager to oversee significant enabling and civils works packages on a major data centre development in North London.

This is an excellent opportunity to take a senior delivery role on a major UK infrastructure project, working alongside an experienced project team within a business that has a strong pipeline of major projects and genuine long-term career progression.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day construction delivery of the enabling and civils packages, coordinating site teams and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, to programme and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of significant enabling and civils works packages.
• Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors and specialist contractors.
• Manage construction sequencing, programme and key delivery milestones.
• Ensure all works are delivered safely and in accordance with project requirements.
• Monitor quality and ensure construction standards are maintained.
• Identify and resolve programme and construction issues.
• Coordinate closely with the Project Manager, engineers, commercial team and wider project stakeholders.
• Manage site logistics, resources, plant and materials effectively.
• Lead site progress and coordination meetings.
• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team.

About You

The successful candidate will be an experienced Senior Site Manager / Construction Manager with a proven track record delivering large-scale enabling and civils works.

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience managing high-value civils and enabling packages.
• Experience working on major infrastructure, data centre or similarly complex projects.
• Strong subcontractor and site team management experience.
• Excellent knowledge of construction sequencing and programme delivery.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• A proven track record of delivering major works safely, efficiently and to programme.

• SMSTS
• CSCS
• Relevant construction qualification
• First Aid at Work
