Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Manager

📍 Hybrid / Remote | 📅 ASAP - November 2027 | 💰 Up to £450 per day (Inside IR35)

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to support major infrastructure and civil engineering bids from pre-qualification through to project mobilisation.

You'll play a key role in shaping procurement strategies, engaging suppliers, supporting estimating teams, and ensuring best-practice procurement throughout the bid life-cycle.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to support successful bids and tenders.
• Lead supplier engagement, selection, and tendering activities.
• Support estimating teams with market intelligence and pricing inputs.
• Manage stakeholder and supply chain relationships across complex projects.
• Ensure procurement governance, compliance, and supply chain assurance.
• Support sustainable procurement and supplier diversity initiatives.
• Contribute to high-quality procurement responses for tender submissions.

What we're looking for:

✅ Strong procurement and supply chain experience within infrastructure and/or civil engineering
✅ Proven experience supporting bids, tenders, and estimating activities
✅ Knowledge of NEC contracts and construction procurement
✅ Experience with e-tendering platforms such as Jaggaer, SourceDogg, or similar
✅ Strong commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
✅ MCIPS qualified or working towards accreditation
