Senior Digital Marketing Manager (Interim)

📍 Location: Midlands or South West (occasional office visits)

📅 Duration: Initial 6-month contract

💰 Rate: £350-£400 per day

✅ IR35: Outside IR35

🏠 Working Pattern: Primarily Remote

We're supporting a leading retail/e-commerce business looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Manager to provide strategic leadership across its digital acquisition channels.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys developing strategy, managing agency relationships and helping channel specialists deliver their best work. Rather than being hands-on in the platforms, you'll focus on driving performance, identifying growth opportunities and ensuring marketing investment delivers maximum return.

What you'll be doing:

• Owning and evolving the digital marketing strategy across key acquisition channels.
• Managing and challenging agency partners to maximise performance and ROI.
• Providing guidance and support to internal specialists executing campaign activity.
• Driving collaboration across paid and organic channels (PPC, Social, etc.) to deliver integrated campaigns.
• Reviewing channel performance, identifying opportunities and implementing improvements.
• Assessing the affiliate marketing programme.

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience in a senior digital marketing role.
• Strong agency management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Deep understanding of digital acquisition and performance marketing.
• Experience developing multi-channel digital strategies.
• Commercially minded, analytical and confident influencing senior stakeholders.
