Position: Senior Air Pricing Coordinator

Salary: Up to £45,000 + Pricing Incentives
Working Arrangement: Full-time, office-based

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced air freight professional with a strong background in pricing, carrier negotiations and commercial rate management?

We're working with an established freight forwarding business looking to recruit a Senior Air Pricing Coordinator to join its Heathrow team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who understands the air freight market, enjoys building competitive pricing solutions and can combine operational knowledge with a strong commercial mindset.

The role will suit someone with extensive air freight experience who is confident managing pricing enquiries, developing rate structures and supporting the business with tenders and rate card submissions.

With a salary of up to £45,000 plus pricing incentives, this is an opportunity to take on a key role within a busy air freight operation and make a real contribution to its commercial success.

The Role

As Senior Air Pricing Coordinator, you'll play an important role in managing air freight pricing activity, supporting customer quotations and helping the business secure new opportunities through competitive and commercially sound rates.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing day-to-day air freight pricing enquiries and preparing competitive quotations.
• Negotiating rates with airlines, agents and other service providers.
• Preparing and maintaining customer rate cards to ensure pricing remains accurate and competitive.
• Supporting the preparation and submission of tenders, ensuring rates meet customer requirements and commercial objectives.
• Reviewing market rates and identifying opportunities to improve pricing and profitability.
• Working closely with the sales, operations and wider pricing teams to support new business opportunities.
• Building strong relationships with airlines, overseas agents and internal stakeholders.
• Ensuring pricing information is accurately maintained and communicated.
• Supporting the business in securing new customers and retaining existing accounts through effective pricing strategies.

About You

We're looking for an established air freight professional who brings both pricing expertise and a strong understanding of the wider air freight forwarding process.

Ideally, you'll have:

• 10+ years' experience within air freight, ideally combining pricing and operational knowledge.
• Previous experience in an air freight pricing or senior air freight operations role.
• Strong knowledge of airline pricing, rate negotiations and international air freight markets.
• Experience preparing and managing customer rate cards and tender submissions.
• The ability to produce accurate, competitive and commercially viable quotations.
