Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 4:00pm–7:00pm or 5:00pm–8:00pm (subject to change)
Start Date: 26th October 2026
Hours: 15 hours per week
Contract: Temporary / Ongoing
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a reliable, hardworking and experienced School Cleaner to work within a school in Enfield, EN3, ensuring the school premises are kept clean, hygienic and safe for pupils and staff.
The successful candidate must have previous professional cleaning experience, a valid Enhanced DBS check and a good understanding of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures.
Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, staffrooms and communal areas.
• Cleaning and sanitising toilets, washrooms and other facilities.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting floors and surfaces.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Using cleaning products and chemicals safely and in accordance with COSHH guidelines.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
• Ensuring cleaning equipment is maintained and stored correctly.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school.
• Reporting any maintenance issues, damage or health and safety concerns to the relevant staff.

Essential Requirements

• Previous professional cleaning experience is essential.
• A valid Enhanced DBS check is essential.
• Good knowledge of cleaning chemicals, products and safe handling procedures.
• An understanding of COSHH and workplace health and safety.
• A reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
• The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• A commitment to safeguarding and maintaining a safe environment for children.

Working HoursMonday to Friday, either 4:00pm–7:00pm or 5:00pm–8:00pm, with the final hours to be confirmed.
Start date: 26th October 2026.
