The Opportunity

We are working with an exciting and rapidly growing AI technology business that is looking to add a talented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to its London team.

The company has developed an innovative AI-powered platform used by organisations operating large vehicle fleets, helping them improve safety, operational performance and efficiency through AI, video intelligence and real-time data.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious salesperson who wants to build their career within a fast-growing technology business and gain exposure to AI, SaaS and enterprise technology sales.

You will be targeting both the fleet industry and in addition the insurance sector

The Role

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging prospective customers and creating qualified opportunities for the wider sales team.

You will:

• Research and identify prospective customers and key decision-makers
• Conduct outbound prospecting through phone, email and LinkedIn
• Engage senior stakeholders across target organisations
• Understand potential customers' challenges and introduce relevant solutions
• Qualify opportunities and arrange meetings for Account Executives
• Maintain accurate prospect and activity information within the CRM
• Work closely with Account Executives and marketing to develop target accounts
• Build and manage a healthy pipeline of sales opportunities
• Consistently work towards activity, meeting and pipeline targets

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is ambitious, commercially minded and comfortable speaking with new customers.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience within sales, business development, recruitment or lead generation
• Experience in an SDR or BDR position would be advantageous
• Strong telephone and written communication skills
• Confidence approaching new businesses and senior decision-makers
• A proactive and resilient approach to outbound sales
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Experience using LinkedIn, CRM systems or sales prospecting tools
• An interest in AI, SaaS or technology

Experience selling technology, SaaS, fleet management, telematics, automotive technology or logistics solutions would be particularly valuable but is not essential.
