Property Maintenance Operations Supervisor
Location: Fulham, London
Salary: £42,000–£48,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with overtime opportunities
Contract Type: Permanent

Vector Recruitment Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Property Maintenance Operations Supervisor to lead a busy maintenance coordination team overseeing roofing, damp and restoration works.

Experience working for a property services or property maintenance business is essential. Knowledge of roofing and damp works would be particularly valuable.

Our client is an established, family-run property services business. This role offers the opportunity to take responsibility for daily operations, improve how work is organised and develop towards an Operations Manager position.

You will supervise the office coordination team, ensuring surveyors, tradespeople and subcontractors are scheduled effectively and customers receive a reliable service from initial enquiry through to completion.

The role

• Lead, support and develop the maintenance coordinators, setting clear priorities and maintaining accountability.
• Oversee survey bookings, job scheduling and resource allocation across roofing, damp and restoration works.
• Track jobs through to completion, resolving delays and coordinating with specialist trade teams.
• Ensure customers receive timely updates and resolve issues before they escalate.
• Monitor job progress, departmental performance and resource efficiency, supporting profitable delivery.
• Improve working practices, job records and reporting standards.

What you’ll bring

• At least three years’ experience coordinating maintenance, repairs or construction works for a property services business.
• Previous responsibility for supervising staff or leading a busy planning or coordination function.
• A strong understanding of organising tradespeople, subcontractors and site appointments.
• Confident communication, practical problem-solving skills and a commercially aware approach.
• Experience using scheduling software, job management systems and digital reporting tools.
• Ideally, knowledge of roofing, damp treatment or building restoration works. Strong property maintenance experience and a willingness to learn will also be considered.
