Job Description:
Project Manager
Rotherham /Hybrid (3 Days on site)
Up to £50,000 + Benefits
An experienced Project Manager is required for our financial client. The successful candidate will take ownership of a portfolio of business change initiatives across both its lending and brokerage operations.
This is a genuinely hands-on role for someone who enjoys owning projects from inception through to delivery. Rather than sitting purely in a Project Management or Business Analysis capacity, you'll be responsible for driving projects end-to-end, gathering requirements, managing stakeholders, coordinating testing, and ensuring successful implementation.
With a structured project roadmap spanning the next 18 months, this is an opportunity to join an established financial services organisation at an exciting stage of growth and play a key role in delivering meaningful business change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Taking ownership of projects from initial discovery through to implementation and business adoption.
- Gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements.
- Working closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Defining project scope, plans, timelines, risks and dependencies.
- Managing project delivery across business and technology teams.
- Coordinating software testing activities and supporting business sign-off.
- Producing clear project updates and delivery reports for senior stakeholders.
- Building strong relationships across the business and with third-party suppliers.
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to business objectives.
Experience required:
- The ideal candidate will enjoy variety, and will be able to switch between detailed analysis and project delivery, and is comfortable taking responsibility for outcomes.
- Experience working in a combined Business Analyst / Project Manager role or come from a Business analysis background or project management background.
- A track record of delivering projects from requirements gathering through to implementation.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience coordinating multiple workstreams and managing competing priorities.
- A pragmatic and solutions-focused approach.
- The confidence to challenge, influence and drive decisions when required.
- Experience within financial services, lending, mortgages, banking or another regulated environment would be advantageous but isn't essential.
Why Join?
- A varied portfolio of business-critical projects.
- An established 18-month roadmap of planned change initiatives.
- Direct exposure to senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- A supportive, collaborative environment with genuine autonomy.
- The opportunity to make a visible impact within a growing organisation.
- Modern offices in Rotherham.
- Hybrid working arrangement with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
