Painter & Decorator

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join a large on-site facilities maintenance team at a prestigious commercial property in Battersea.
 
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent position with a well-established building services provider, working on a modern, high-profile site with excellent long-term career prospects.
 
The Role
 
Working as part of the on-site maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive painting and decorating works to ensure the building is maintained to a high standard.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Internal and external painting and decorating works.
• Surface preparation including filling, sanding, stripping and priming.
• Wallpaper removal and wall repairs where required.
• Minor plaster patch repairs and making good.
• Maintaining high standards of finish throughout the building.
• Working safely and ensuring work areas are kept clean and tidy.
• Liaising with the wider facilities team to complete planned maintenance tasks.
• Responding to reactive maintenance requests as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Painter & Decorator within commercial, residential or facilities maintenance environments.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality finishes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider maintenance team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• A proactive and reliable approach to work.

Salary & Benefits

• £35,000 - £38,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm
• 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
