Paediatric Community Nurse

RJS Resourcing is looking for a Registered Children’s Nurse who would like to take their clinical skills beyond the traditional hospital setting.
This community-based role involves visiting children and adults in their homes, schools or workplaces to provide planned treatments, clinical monitoring and practical education. You will manage your own daily visits while remaining supported by an experienced clinical and scheduling team.
Package:
Patients receive treatment for a wide variety of conditions, including those relating to oncology, neurology, immunology, rheumatology, gastroenterology and rare diseases.
Responsibilities :
Your working day will involve travelling between patients and delivering individualised clinical care. Depending on each patient’s treatment plan, this may include:
The position offers greater continuity and more meaningful one-to-one contact than is often possible within a busy hospital environment.
Requirements:
Previous experience in community care, complex care, homecare nursing, cannulation, venepuncture, IV therapy or accessing ports would be advantageous but is not essential.
Applicants with three or more years of post-registration experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
Important travel information
This is a mobile nursing position involving regular and sometimes extensive travel throughout London.
There is no fixed local patch or guaranteed travel radius, as appointments are arranged according to patient need. You must therefore be comfortable driving to any area of London, with some journeys between visits potentially exceeding two hours.
If you are a Children’s Nurse seeking greater independence, specialist training and the chance to provide focused care in a patient’s own environment, apply through RJS Resourcing today. We work across the sector so if this is not the perfect match other roles on our books may be available
All applications will be handled confidentially.
