Marketing & Communications Assistant

Location: Hounslow, West London
Working pattern: Hybrid – 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home
Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum
Benefits: Quarterly bonus, 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays

About the opportunity

An established international logistics business is looking for a creative, organised and proactive Marketing & Communications Assistant to join its growing marketing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a marketing professional with 2–3 years’ experience who enjoys creating engaging content, managing social media, supporting events and delivering effective marketing campaigns.

Working with colleagues across the UK, Ireland and Nordic markets, you’ll play an important role in delivering marketing communications, supporting lead-generation activity and helping to strengthen customer engagement across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Create engaging marketing content for a range of digital and offline channels.
• Write and proofread newsletters, customer communications, articles and campaign copy.
• Support social media, email marketing and wider digital marketing campaigns.
• Maintain CRM content, marketing templates and automation workflows.
• Coordinate events, webinars and marketing activities to generate new leads.
• Produce marketing materials, presentations and supporting campaign assets.
• Help develop creative communications that increase audience engagement and brand awareness.
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across different regions to deliver marketing projects on time.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is creative, enthusiastic and well organised, with a genuine interest in marketing and communications.

You’ll ideally have:

• 2–3 years’ experience in a marketing, communications or similar role.
• Excellent written communication, editing and proofreading skills.
• Experience supporting social media and email marketing campaigns.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
• Experience using Canva or similar creative design software.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Confident stakeholder management and communication skills.
• A proactive approach, attention to detail and a willingness to contribute new ideas.

Experience within the logistics, supply chain or transport sector would be advantageous, but is not essential.
