Location: Crayford / Dartford
Pay: £12.99 basic | £15.00 after 6pm | £15.00 Saturday
Hours: Monday–Friday, occasional Saturdays
Start: October
Job Type: Temp to Perm

Driver Hire are recruiting reliable Van Drivers for a leading furniture company in the Crayford / Dartford area.

You’ll be delivering sofas, beds, chairs, mattresses and other furniture to customers’ homes. This is a hands-on role, involving regular lifting, carrying and manoeuvring of heavy and bulky items, so you must be physically fit and comfortable with lifting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive 3.5t Luton, Sprinter and Transit vans
• Deliver and unload furniture safely
• Lift and manoeuvre bulky/heavy items into customers’ homes
• Complete deliveries efficiently and on time
• Provide professional customer service
• Complete delivery paperwork and vehicle checks

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Previous van/delivery driving experience
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and physical work
• Reliable, punctual and customer-focused
• Safe and responsible driving manner
