If you’ve built up strong experience working on escalators or within construction and you're ready to take on more responsibility, this could be your opportunity to move into a leadership role with Otis.

We’re looking for a Field Manager to join our London team, taking responsibility for our engineers and the successful delivery of work across one or more project sites.

Working alongside our Project and Construction Managers, you’ll make sure the teams on site have the people, equipment, information and support they need to get the job done safely and successfully.

What will you be doing?

Your role will be about people, safety and delivery.

Day to day, you’ll:

• Lead and support teams of engineers working across your sites.
• Make sure work is carried out safely and to the required quality standards.
• Work with Project and Construction Managers to plan upcoming work and ensure the right people, tools and resources are available.
• Take ownership of project delivery, keeping work on programme and within budget.
• Monitor progress and identify potential delays or issues before they become bigger problems.
• Help engineers overcome challenges on site and make sure they have the support they need.
• Maintain high standards around Safety, Ethics and Financial Control.
• Build good relationships with customers, contractors and colleagues.

What are we looking for?

You could already be working as a Field Manager or Construction Manager, or you might be an experienced Escalator Engineer looking to take that next step into leadership.

We’re looking for:

• Strong experience within the lift, escalator or construction industry.
• Experience working as an Escalator Engineer, Field Manager, Construction Manager or in a similar position.
• Experience leading or managing engineers.
• Good planning and organisational skills.
• A practical approach to solving problems on site.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with different teams and customers.
• A commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Flexibility to work days or nights when projects require it.
