Secondary English Teacher – Harrow

Supply Desk are seeking a professional, passionate, and dedicated secondary English teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive school in the Harrow area, starting this September.

This full-time role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about English and committed to inspiring students through engaging and challenging lessons. You will be responsible for planning and delivering creative, curriculum-aligned English lessons, monitoring and assessing student progress, and maintaining strong communication with parents and carers. The role also offers opportunities to become involved in extra-curricular activities and school initiatives, helping to enrich the educational experience for all students.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across the secondary curriculum
• Tracking and reporting students’ progress
• Liaising with parents/carers to deliver reports
• Contribution to extra-curricular activities and after-school clubs
• Cooperation with colleagues in order to deliver the best possible outcomes

Requirements:

• Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
• Secondary English classroom experience
• Passion for the development of learning
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Inclusive ethics
• Knowledge/Maintenance/Promotion of safeguarding
