Electrician Role 

We are currently recruiting for a skilled Electrician to join a reputable contractor working on a large-scale commercial project. This is a long-term opportunity for a qualified Electrician seeking stable work within a professional and safety-focused environment.

The successful Electrician will be responsible for a wide range of duties including installation of containment systems, wiring, lighting, power distribution, and final fix work. Working as an Electrician, you will be expected to interpret technical drawings, adhere to project timelines, and maintain high standards of workmanship throughout.

To be considered for this role, the Electrician must hold a valid Gold Card and demonstrate previous experience on commercial sites such as offices, retail units, or large developments. The ideal Electrician will be confident working both independently and within a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and site coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation of cable trays, trunking, and conduit

• Wiring and termination of circuits

• Lighting and power installation

• Testing and inspection support

• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Valid ECS Gold Card (essential)

• Proven experience working as an Electrician on commercial projects

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings

• Strong understanding of current wiring regulations

• Own tools and PPE
