Job Description:

Electrical Tester / Appointed Person
£26.70 per hour (PAYE only) Uplift after 37.5 hours
Temp-to-Perm
43 hours per week
Various projects across London & the South East

1st Step Solutions are looking for an Electrical Tester / Appointed Person to work across multiple projects in London, this is a long term position, to be taken on directly later.

This is a combination role where 20-30% of the role is AP work and the rest is testing and on the tools.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Testing and certification of electrical installations where required or requested.
• General electrical installation when there is no testing or SAP duties.
• A monthly inspection of all electrical projects in London and south east region  to ensure compliance with company code of practice is being maintained.
• IT skills to maintain records of all testing and inspection in relation to the code of practice and feeding into national database if required.
• Attendance to any meeting required under the SAP role and Liaison with national SAP manager 

 Requirements:

• JIB Card | Approved Electrician
• 2391 or 2394/5
• 18th Edition
• First Aid (can be arranged by the client)
• SMSTS (can be arranged by the client
• Previous experience as an Appointed Person
• CV
