Job Description:

We are working with an established London law firm seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to join its property team.

This is a varied position requiring experience across both residential and commercial property matters, making it particularly suitable for a solicitor looking to maintain a broad property caseload.

The Role

• Residential sales and purchases
• Freehold and leasehold transactions
• Remortgages
• Transfers of equity
• New-build transactions where applicable
• Commercial property sales and acquisitions
• Commercial leases
• Landlord and tenant property matters
• Reviewing and drafting property documentation
• Conducting title investigations and searches
• Liaising with clients, lenders, agents and other solicitors
• Managing transactions through exchange and completion

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor admitted to practise in England & Wales
• Current SRA practising certificate
• Approximately 2-3 years' PQE
• Strong conveyancing/property experience
• Experience across both residential and commercial property
• Ability to independently manage transactions from instruction through to completion
• Strong knowledge of relevant property law and conveyancing procedures
• Excellent client-care and communication skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
