Brand Sales Consultant – Premium Sustainable Fashion

Location: London – Oxford Street

Salary: £15,000 – £29,000 per annum, depending on experience and hours

Job Type: Permanent | Full-time or Part-time

Working Hours: Monday to Sunday, including weekends

We are recruiting for a Brand Sales Consultant to join a premium sustainable fashion business, working primarily within a leading department store on Oxford Street, with occasional support required at a second London department store and the brand's own London retail locations.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Retail Sales Consultant, Fashion Sales Advisor, Brand Ambassador or
Department Store Consultant who enjoys building genuine relationships with customers and providing knowledgeable, personalised styling advice.

The successful candidate will be a confident and engaging brand ambassador with a professional approach, strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for fashion.

The Role
As a Brand Sales Consultant, you will play an important role in driving sales, delivering an outstanding customer experience and maintaining the highest visual merchandising and brand standards.
You will:

• Provide exceptional customer service and personalised fashion and styling advice.
• Act as a knowledgeable and enthusiastic brand ambassador.
• Build strong relationships with customers and department store teams.
• Understand customer needs and confidently recommend appropriate products.
• Maintain excellent visual merchandising standards in line with brand guidelines.
• Ensure new stock is processed, steamed and merchandised promptly.
• Replenish stock and maintain a clean, organised and visually appealing shop floor.
• Keep the stockroom organised and maintained to a high standard.
• Support deliveries, stock recalls, stock takes and sale markdowns.
• Assist with customer sales, returns and deliveries in accordance with store procedures.
• Work towards weekly sales targets and help maximise commercial performance.
• Communicate regularly with Head Office regarding sales performance, customer feedback, product performance and customer profiles.
• Develop a strong understanding of the current collection, including fabrics, fits, styles and product details.
• Provide professional customer service by phone, email and face-to-face.
• Handle customer queries and sensitive situations calmly, professionally and tactfully.
• Use retail technology, till systems, website and logistics functions confidently.
• Maintain excellent telephone etiquette and professional communication.
• Follow all company and store health and safety procedures.

About YouWe are looking for someone who is energetic, stylish, professional and genuinely passionate about fashion and people.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience in premium fashion retail, department stores or a similar customer-focused environment.
• Experience working as a Brand Ambassador, Brand Consultant, Sales Consultant, Fashion Advisor or Retail Sales Advisor.
• A genuine interest in sustainable and responsible fashion.
• A warm, friendly and approachable personality.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Confidence providing styling and product recommendations.
• Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of retail sales targets.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• A proactive, energetic and positive "can-do" attitude.
• The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
• Patience, empathy and a calm, professional manner when dealing with customers.
• Confidence using basic retail technology and IT systems.
• A smart and professional appearance.
• Flexibility to work across Monday to Sunday, including weekends.
• The ability to represent a premium fashion brand with confidence and enthusiasm.

Most importantly, you will be someone who loves engaging with customers, enjoys fashion and takes pride in delivering an exceptional retail experience.
Working Pattern & LocationThe role is based primarily within a leading department store on Oxford Street, London, with occasional shifts at other London locations when required.
Store hours:

• Monday to Saturday: 10:00am – 6:00pm
• Sunday: 12:00pm – 5:00pm

This position is available on a full-time or part-time permanent basis.
