Bid Writer

📍 City of London (Hybrid: 1 Day Office | 4 Days Home)
💷 Up to £60,000 + Excellent Benefits Package

Our client, a leading corporate security provider, is looking for a talented Bid Writer to join its successful Bid team.

Reporting to the Head of Bids, you'll create compelling, high-quality bid responses that help secure major contracts. This is a fast-paced role where exceptional writing skills, creativity, attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Write engaging, persuasive responses for PQQs, SQs, ITTs and RFPs.
• Produce high-quality content that is tailored to each client's requirements.
• Work closely with Operations, Sales, HR, Finance and Subject Matter Experts to gather information.
• Proofread, edit and format submissions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage multiple bids and competing deadlines.
• Maintain and develop the bid content library.
• Research clients and competitors to strengthen bid submissions.
• Support Bid Managers throughout the bid process.

About You

You'll be an experienced Bid Writer with:

• Outstanding writing and proofreading skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Experience writing successful bids, ideally within security, FM or outsourced services.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
