The Role - Behaviour Mentor – Bromley

We are looking for a confident and experienced Behaviour Mentor to join a specialist SEMH School in Bromley from September 2026. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students who have a range of social, emotional and mental health needs, providing consistent behavioural, emotional and pastoral support. You will support students who may present with challenging behaviour, ADHD, ASD, emotional regulation difficulties and additional SEN needs. The role will involve providing 1:1 intervention and in-class support, helping students manage their behaviour, regulate their emotions and engage positively with their education.

You will support students both inside and outside of the classroom, including during breaks, lunch and less structured periods of the school day. You will also help students transition between lessons and activities and encourage positive engagement across the school. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will build strong and trusting relationships with students, helping them develop confidence, resilience, emotional regulation and positive behaviour. You will work closely with teachers and the wider pastoral and SEN team to provide consistent support and ensure students are able to access learning and make progress. Physical Intervention or Team Teach Training is highly desirable.

This is a specialist SEMH School located in Bromley, supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
