Job Description:

Location: North East London
Rate: £700 per day (Umbrella)
Contract: Interim

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Director to lead Home First and Provider Services for a London Borough. This is a key strategic leadership role, managing a £12 million budget and leading 260 staff across a broad portfolio of Adult Social Care services.

• Lead Hospital Discharge, Reablement, Occupational Therapy, Home Adaptations, Residential Care, Shared Lives and Dementia Services.
• Drive transformation and service improvement across Adult Social Care.
• Build strong partnerships with NHS organisations and external providers.
• Ensure services meet all statutory, safeguarding and regulatory requirements.
• Provide strategic leadership, financial oversight and workforce development.

You'll have:

• Significant senior leadership experience within Adult Social Care.
• A proven track record of leading complex transformation programmes.
• Experience managing large teams and multi-million-pound budgets.
• Strong knowledge of the Care Act, safeguarding and integrated health and social care.
• A Social Work or relevant Health & Social Care qualification (Social Work England registration where applicable).
