Air Conditioning / Chiller Engineer – Temp to Perm Opportunity

Location: Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich, SE18 4QH
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
Contract: PAYE – Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Air Conditioning / Chiller Engineer to join a maintenance team based at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer seeking a long-term role, with the potential to secure a permanent position following an initial temporary period.

Essential Requirements

• F-Gas Category 1 Certification
• Minimum 7 years' experience within the air conditioning and refrigeration industry
• Strong knowledge of Split Systems and VRV/VRF Systems
• Experience providing first response to chiller faults
• Proven experience in air conditioning servicing, maintenance, and fault finding
• Ability to diagnose and rectify faults efficiently within a live environment

Key Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining air conditioning systems
• Diagnosing and repairing faults on split, VRV, and VRF systems
• First response to chiller breakdowns and faults
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards
• Maintaining accurate service records and reports
