Job Title: Mobile Air Conditioning (AC) Engineer

Location: Covering London (Ideally situated around/In the M25 region)

Position Type: Full-Time, Fully Remote (Field-based)

Salary: £47,000 - £50,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)

Their core working sectors include Retail, Student Accommodation, and Healthcare, where they pride themselves on high standards of self-delivered technical service and customer care. They are currently looking for a skilled, autonomous Mobile AC Engineer to join their London team.

Job Purpose

As a Mobile AC Engineer, you will be responsible for providing planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and servicing across a diverse portfolio of commercial sites spanning London and surrounding areas. Working primarily within retail, student accommodation, and healthcare environments, you will handle a wide variety of commercial air conditioning and HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine PPM and reactive breakdown repairs on a wide variety of commercial AC systems (VRV/VRFs, splits, multi-splits, chillers/plant rooms).
• Work on key HVAC plant room equipment across various commercial settings.
• Fault find, diagnose, and repair system defects efficiently with minimal disruption to client operations.
• Cover a mobile patch across London, ensuring timely travel and professional representation of the company on-site.
• Participate in the company call-out rota (standard is 1 in 4, though this may vary between 1 in 6 or 1 in 8 depending on the specific site portfolio).
• Complete all compliance and service documentation accurately via digital platforms.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

• Qualifications: City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent).
• Experience: Proven field experience working on commercial HVAC plant rooms and a wide variety of AC systems.
• Location: Ideally located around or in the M25 region / Greater London fringes, allowing for efficient travel times
• Security Clearance: Applicants must state clearly in their application whether or not they are able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check (due to the nature of healthcare and student accommodation environments).
• Work Ethic: A dependable, self-motivated professional who can work independently under a fully remote structure while communicating effectively with the wider team.

Package & Benefits

Salary: £47,000 - £50,000 per annum.

Working Structure: Fully remote field-based role with travel across London.

Overtime: Available based on competitive enhanced rates.

Door to Door: 30 minutes given each way

Call-Out Rota: 1 in 4 standard (subject to variation between 1 in 6 / 1 in 8 based on site agreements).
